Recruiters often scan quickly. Put your current role, strongest skills, measurable achievements, and target function near the top. Avoid long personal statements that do not connect to the job.
Match the role without copying it
Use the job description to understand what the employer values, then reflect relevant experience honestly. If the listing asks for social media reporting, show campaigns, channels, tools, and outcomes you have handled.
Show evidence, not just duties
- Replace “managed social media” with growth, reach, engagement, content volume, or campaign examples.
- For operations roles, include process improvements, turnaround time, or customer outcomes.
- For technical roles, include shipped products, stacks, repositories, or production impact.
A stronger CV helps employers understand fit faster, especially when roles attract many applicants.
