Requirements for Appointment

• Diploma in Medical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, together with knowledge of good clinical laboratory practice.

• Registration with the relevant professional association for medical engineers in Kenya and maintenance of good standing.

• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience working in a busy hospital, including a minimum of two (2) years in a senior position.

• Demonstrated strong administrative capability and professional competence required in managing livestock production services.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments, work within strict timelines and perform duties with minimal supervision.

• Member of the Audit Committee shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term only.

• Remuneration: This is not a salaried position; Allowances applicable shall be determined by the salaries and remuneration commission.
