Municipal Manager – Moyale Municipality

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Economics, Urban Planning/Development, Sociology or another relevant field from a recognized university.

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• At least 10 years of experience in administration or management within the public or private sector.

• Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting at least six weeks, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

• Demonstrated managerial, leadership and professional competence, with a proven ability to deliver results.

Director – Climate Change, Mitigation & Adaptation

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, Meteorology or an equivalent field from a recognized institution.

• Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management or an equivalent discipline.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental or climate-related management, including a minimum of three years in a senior management position.

• Registration with NEMA as an Associate Expert in EIS/EAS.

• Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme of at least six weeks or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

• Certificate in computer applications.

Veterinary Officer – 6 Posts

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) degree from a recognized institution.

• Registration with the Kenya Veterinary Board.

• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

Leather Development Officer

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Leather Technology, Footwear Technology, Materials Technology (Leather), or Leather Goods Design and Development from a recognized institution.

Alternatively:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Animal Science together with a two-year basic certificate or diploma, or at least one year of postgraduate training in Hides and Skins or Leather Technology.

• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

Livestock Production Officer – 2 Posts

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, Apiculture, Food Science and Technology, Agribusiness, Range Management, Natural Resource Management, Livestock/Agricultural Economics, Dairy Technology, or Agricultural Education and Extension.

• Registration with the Kenya Veterinary Board.

• Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

• Demonstrated ability and merit in work performance and results.

Assistant Livestock Production Officer III – 3 Posts

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Valid practising licence from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.

• Must have served as a Senior Medical Officer for at least three years.

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

• Registration certificate from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

• Valid practising licence from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

• Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting at least four weeks, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, is an added advantage.

• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
