Position Overview

Our client is a quickly growing agribusiness company that focuses on commercial beekeeping, honey production and processing, herbs production, adding value to products, and distributing them.
They are looking for a skilled Human Resource Officer.The right person will be in charge of managing all aspects of the company’s human resources, including recruitment, handling employee relations, implementing policies, managing performance, taking care of staff welfare, making sure the company follows laws, and creating a fair, inclusive, and efficient work environment across all their operations.

Applicants should have:

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least three years of experience in a generalist HR role.

Knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and other relevant Kenyan labor laws.

Membership in the Institute of Human Resource Management.

A professional HR certification like CHRP-K will be a plus.

Experience working with employees in the field, in agriculture, manufacturing, or in areas that are spread out geographically will also be a plus.

Good knowledge of payroll management, performance evaluation, and keeping employee records.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.

Will to travel and work in remote areas where the company operates.

A practical, friendly, and solution-focused approach to work.
