Job Responsibilities
The Home Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule while complying with applicable transportation laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies. The position requires a strong commitment to customer service, vehicle safety, and accurate delivery documentation.
Key Duties
Operate government-owned and contractor-provided vehicles responsibly when transporting goods and materials according to established delivery schedules.
Deliver shipments to residential properties and other assigned locations while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and punctuality.
Review delivery schedules and verify that all assigned items are present and delivered to the appropriate destinations.
Load, secure, transport, and unload goods using approved handling procedures to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain a valid driver's license that satisfies applicable licensing requirements, including recognized equivalency for foreign licenses where necessary.
Hold the appropriate Commercial Driver's License (CDL) when operating vehicles exceeding the size or classification of standard pickup trucks.
Observe all applicable road traffic laws, transportation regulations, safety requirements, and company procedures.
Conduct mandatory vehicle inspections before operation and ensure that vehicles and related equipment remain safe and roadworthy.
Practice defensive driving and follow preventive vehicle-care procedures.
Report mechanical defects, safety concerns, or other vehicle problems to the appropriate supervisor or responsible authority.
Maintain complete and accurate records relating to deliveries, mileage, vehicle inspections, and other required transportation activities.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers throughout the delivery process.
Respond appropriately to delivery-related questions, concerns, or service issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license that meets applicable local, foreign, or equivalent licensing standards.
A valid CDL corresponding to the relevant vehicle class is required when operating vehicles larger than pickup trucks.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial or larger vehicles when required by the assignment.
Strong time-management abilities and the capacity to meet scheduled delivery deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when completing delivery records and transportation documentation.
Ability to safely handle, load, secure, transport, and unload various types of goods.
Sufficient English proficiency to understand and perform contractual duties and follow emergency procedures at the assigned facility.
A passport valid for at least one year at the time of appointment.
Ability to secure any visas or travel authorizations required under the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to satisfy contractual medical screening requirements and remain medically compliant throughout deployment.
Ability to obtain and retain the necessary facility access credentials or authorization.
Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS environment alongside a multinational workforce.
Experience with military, government, or similar logistics and delivery operations is desirable.
Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance practices and procedures used to maintain roadworthiness.
Air Cargo Packaging Specialist
Job Responsibilities
The Air Cargo Packaging Specialist prepares materials and equipment for safe air transportation in accordance with applicable U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, and aviation packaging requirements. The role involves inspecting cargo, determining appropriate packaging methods, and ensuring shipments are properly protected, secured, marked, and prepared for transport.
Key Duties
Inspect cargo and determine suitable packaging requirements based on the nature, size, weight, and transportation conditions of each shipment.
Select appropriate packaging materials and techniques to protect cargo during handling and air transportation.
Perform packing, crating, palletizing, strapping, and banding activities in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure cargo is packaged in a manner that meets applicable weight, balance, handling, and safety requirements.
Prepare and verify shipment documentation to ensure packaging and cargo information is complete and accurate.
Inspect completed packages and confirm that items are properly secured, identified, and ready for shipment.
Coordinate with air cargo, transportation, and logistics personnel to facilitate efficient shipment processing.
Maintain adequate stocks of packaging materials and ensure packaging tools and equipment remain serviceable.
Follow approved procedures when handling and packaging hazardous materials, where applicable.
Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.
Support time-sensitive logistics activities in remote and demanding operational environments.
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in cargo preparation, packaging, freight handling, logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
Basic understanding of cargo packaging, material handling, freight preparation, and shipment procedures.
Physical ability to lift and move materials and remain standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established packaging, handling, and safety instructions.
Adequate English proficiency to perform contractual responsibilities and understand facility emergency procedures.
Passport valid for at least one year at the time of hiring.
Ability to obtain visas and other country-specific travel documentation in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to meet and maintain all contractual medical requirements throughout the deployment period.
Ability to obtain and maintain required facility credentials and access authorization.
Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with personnel from multiple nationalities.
Experience in air cargo handling, military logistics, Department of Defense transportation, or comparable operations is advantageous.
Familiarity with hazardous-material packaging requirements or air transportation regulations is desirable.
Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the relevant country.
