Role Summary
The Paediatric Critical Care Lecturer will coordinate educational activities under the Paediatric Paediatric Critical Care Nursing (PCCN) programme and provide students with both classroom-based and clinical training.
The role involves supporting students in developing the knowledge and practical competencies required in paediatric critical care nursing. The lecturer will monitor student progress, maintain the required teaching standards, contribute to curriculum development and review, and ensure course content remains aligned with Nursing Council of Kenya requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate learning and teaching activities within the Paediatric PCCN programme.
Deliver theoretical and practical instruction to students.
Guide students in developing essential paediatric critical care nursing skills.
Monitor student performance and progress to maintain expected academic and clinical standards.
Develop and review curriculum content in accordance with Nursing Council requirements.
Administer theory and practical assessments.
Evaluate student assignments, examinations and overall academic performance.
Maintain clinical competence through regular clinical practice.
Take responsibility for continuous professional development.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and research activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
Higher Diploma in Paediatric Critical Care Nursing.
At least one year of experience working as a Tutor.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya practising licence.
Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate.
Certificate of Good Conduct.
A TVET Trainer certificate will be an added advantage.
Certification in EPALS or PALS will be an added advantage.
Information Systems Auditor

Role Summary
The Information Systems Auditor will provide independent assurance and advisory support concerning the hospital’s information systems. The position focuses on evaluating governance, risk management, internal controls, information security, regulatory compliance and the responsible use of technology.
The role will help protect patient, employee and organisational information while supporting the reliability of clinical and business operations. It will also contribute to effective use of digital systems and responsible implementation of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation and data analytics.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least three years of relevant experience in Information Systems auditing, IT risk management, compliance assurance or a related field.
At least one year of the required experience should have been gained in a supervisory or management role.
Experience within a hospital or another regulated healthcare environment will be preferred.
Working knowledge of Hospital or Health Information Systems and Electronic Medical Records.
Familiarity with ERP systems, databases, networking, web application development and cloud technologies.
Understanding of health data exchange standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
Good knowledge of COSO ERM, COBIT 2019, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 27799.
Understanding of applicable data protection and digital health regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of AI governance, AI risk management, model validation and responsible use of generative AI will be an added advantage.
Understanding of automation controls and the audit considerations associated with AI-enabled healthcare, administrative and reporting systems will be an added advantage.
Experience working with data analytics, Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) or audit management platforms such as ACL/Galvanize, IDEA, TeamMate+ or similar tools will be an added advantage.
