Network Engineer
1. Structured Cabling Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structured Cabling Technician to support the installation, testing, maintenance, and certification of structured cabling infrastructure for enterprise environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality copper and fiber optic cabling solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable network infrastructure that supports business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Structured Cabling Installation
Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems for enterprise network environments.
Deploy Category 6A (Cat6A) copper cabling and fiber optic infrastructure in accordance with approved designs.
Install network outlets, patch panels, cabinets, racks, and cable management systems.
Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and industry standards.
2. Testing & Certification
Perform testing and certification of copper and fiber optic cabling using Fluke DSX testing equipment.
Verify cable performance and ensure installations meet required certification standards.
Diagnose and resolve cabling faults, connectivity issues, and signal degradation.
Prepare and submit cable testing and certification reports.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of structured cabling infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty network cabling and connectivity issues.
Replace damaged cables, connectors, and termination points where necessary.
Ensure network infrastructure remains reliable and fully operational.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate installation records, cable labeling, and as-built documentation.
Ensure all cabling work complies with TIA/EIA-568 standards and organizational requirements.
Adhere to workplace safety procedures and quality standards throughout project execution.
Support project documentation and handover activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Diploma or Certificate in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum three (3) years' experience installing and supporting enterprise structured cabling systems.
Practical experience with Cat6A and fiber optic installation, testing, and certification.
Hands-on experience using Fluke DSX cable testing equipment.
Experience working on commercial, corporate, or data center infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies

2. Network Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of network systems while providing technical support for routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies.
The role requires a technically competent professional with strong problem-solving skills and experience managing enterprise networking environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Implementation & Administration
Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
Deploy and support routers, switches, wireless networks, and other networking equipment.
Configure and manage VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security solutions.
Support implementation of network expansion and infrastructure upgrade projects.
2. Network Monitoring & Performance
Monitor network performance to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
Identify and resolve network faults, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Perform routine maintenance and optimization of network infrastructure.
Implement proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance measures.
3. Network Security
Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network access controls.
Support implementation of secure network architectures and cybersecurity best practices.
Monitor network security events and respond to incidents as required.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
4. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Provide second-level technical support for enterprise network environments.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
Support users and internal teams in resolving network-related incidents.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.
Update asset inventories and infrastructure records.
Prepare network performance reports and implementation documentation.
Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Professional Certifications
Candidates must possess:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is required for lead-level positions and will be an added advantage for other roles.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum three (3) years' experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
Proven experience configuring and managing routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.
Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure documentation.
Experience working with enterprise LAN/WAN environments is highly desirable.
