Job Purpose
The Office Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and support services to ensure the branch operates in a clean, organized and efficient environment. The role will oversee office opening and closing, cleanliness, registry and stationery management, supplies, and external administrative errands.
Key Responsibilities
Manage office access keys and codes and ensure the branch is opened on time and properly secured at the end of the business day.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the office, kitchen, washrooms, registry and stationery store.
Prepare tea, coffee and other beverages and deliver them to staff and visitors when required.
Ensure adequate drinking water is available at all designated points within the office.
Clean and maintain the kitchen, utensils and cutlery.
Monitor and manage stocks of kitchen and washroom consumables.
Maintain the branch registry and ensure documents are properly filed and can be retrieved promptly when required.
Manage the stationery store and ensure required forms and stationery are available.
Monitor stationery consumption and reorder supplies when stock reaches the required levels.
Handle external errands such as banking, purchasing supplies and settling bills.
Promote compliance with health and safety requirements within the branch.
Check that fire extinguishers are functional and available for use.
Monitor the condition and functionality of office equipment and facilities, including doors, air conditioners, refrigerators, water dispensers, photocopiers, printers and generators.
Perform other duties assigned by management, including supporting customer service, credit, marketing or teller functions when necessary.
Academic Qualifications

Professional Qualifications

Job Purpose
The Teller will handle customer cash and other financial transactions efficiently and accurately. The role involves processing receipts and payments, maintaining proper transaction records, safeguarding funds and providing quality service to customers at the teller point.
Key Responsibilities
Receive cash from the supervisor and maintain full accountability for all funds under your custody.
Update the treasury book and M-Pesa register accurately.
Remain alert to unusual or suspicious activities involving members and visitors and report concerns appropriately.
Identify suspected counterfeit cash or financial instruments and report them through the appropriate channels.
Accurately post cash and non-cash transactions to the relevant MPAs and verify the entries.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at the teller counter.
Prepare daily reports accurately and submit them for verification and checking.
File completed records appropriately and ensure their secure storage and easy retrieval when required.
Process M-Pesa transactions and maintain the manual M-Pesa register alongside the relevant system entries.
Carry out any other duties or assignments allocated by the supervisor from time to time.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field such as Finance, Accounting or Banking.
Professional Qualification
CPA II.
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
