Job Description
Strategy and Planning
Perform duties with minimal supervision and effectively plan working time during the shift.
Review the daily production schedule and work with the planner to determine where to be positioned to capture all relevant process and product checks and measurements.
Ensure production activities are carried out in line with Quality Control and HACCP requirements, operating procedures, visual inspection audits and required QC line checks.
Implementation
Use ingredient specifications, product recipes and formulas, product specifications, manufacturing procedures, sampling programmes, GMP requirements and in-process records to assess process and product conditions against established standards and tolerable limits.
Apply the predetermined decision matrix to ensure appropriate decisions are made with minimal escalation when results fall outside acceptable limits.
Participate in sensory panels to conduct organoleptic analysis at specified intervals, maintain consistency and support corrective actions and continuous improvement programmes.
Follow the predetermined range of process and product checks to ensure all required quality and compliance checks are completed.
Identify any non-conformance that could prevent a process or product from progressing to the next stage.
Operate independently from the manufacturing team and assess processes from the perspective of the final customer to maintain product consistency and integrity.
Record checks and measurements using the required documentation or digital systems.
Quarantine ingredients, products or processes when checks and measurements produce results outside approved limits.
Continuously monitor product quality throughout raw material intake, packing, positive release and dispatch.
Reporting and Evaluation
Complete all required checks and measurements within the predetermined scope and document each activity.
Record the specific product or process name, work order number and decision at each level as either pass or fail.
Immediately escalate failed processes or products to the shift manager and quality supervisor on duty, providing details and reasons for the quarantine.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Food Science from a recognised institution.
Experience and Other Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a QC-related position within an FMCG environment.
Computer literacy.
Qualification or experience in ISO 22000/HACCP.
Demonstrated ability to be consultative, collaborative, analytical, proactive, change-oriented and structured while remaining flexible when required.
Results-driven approach with the ability to identify solutions when faced with adverse results or conditions and achieve set objectives.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Ensure the availability and reliability of hardware, CCTV, printers and UPS systems across the headquarters, commissary and branches.
Support the operation of commissary systems, commissary network and internet connectivity between the commissary and branches.
Provide end-user support by resolving computer hardware, software and network-related problems.
Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on workstations and other IT equipment.
Support desktop hardware upgrade planning and participate in new store projects and system rollouts.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment under the assigned area of responsibility.
Install and customise network equipment as part of network support activities.
Troubleshoot network issues to identify and resolve common printer and cabling problems.
Prepare regular reports on application, network and system availability.
Develop and schedule hardware maintenance plans for computers, peripherals and printers.
Provide hardware and cabling support as part of day-to-day IT administration.
Troubleshoot cabling issues and prepare regular reports and statistics on branch requirements and needs.
Ensure all calls and incidents logged through the Helpdesk are addressed within the agreed SLA response time.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
B.Sc. or Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science or another computer-related field from a recognised university.
A+, N+, MCT or MCITP certification.
Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
Functional Skills
Experience with 2003/2008 server platforms, Active Directory and Microsoft Windows XP environments.
Skills in troubleshooting hardware, POS systems, cabling and printers.
Working knowledge and experience with WAN, LAN, cabling, hardware troubleshooting, operating systems and EPOS support.
Experience
2 years of experience in computer hardware and system software within an environment involving remote sites.
