I manage client relationships to make sure customers are happy and the business grows.
I found new business chances, created leads, and met monthly sales goals.I worked with the operations team to make sure freight and logistics services run smoothly.I kept customer records, quotations, payment tracking, and shipment updates accurate.I checked on payments that were still owed and made daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection reports.I took part in marketing efforts, industry events, and studied competitors to help promote our services.I built and kept strong relationships with clients while also bringing in new customers.
I have good communication and people skills.
I can work alone or as part of a team.I’m skilled in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.Knowledge of the logistics industry is a plus.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Accounts Clerk- Mombasa
Prepare and process payment vouchers for company expenses, vendors, and customs authorities, ensuring all necessary approvals and supporting documents are in place.
Input vouchers accurately into the accounting system.
Manage petty cash accounts.
Record daily receipts and match them with cash and bank records.
Monitor transactions, confirm deposits, and update client accounts.
Create daily cash flow reports.
Keep all vouchers and receipts well-organized and ready for audits.
Ensure adherence to financial rules and customs guidelines.
Work with the Operations team on payment and receipt issues; check administrative requests against approved budgets.
Diploma in Accounting or CPA (must have completed at least Stage II).
Skilled in using computer software.
Strong sense of honesty, precision, and attention to detail.
