KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Procurement Intern
Prepares the LPO and places orders for goods and services to make sure suppliers deliver on time as agreed.

Books flights for staff and other approved personnel and arranges hotel bookings for conference facilities and staff stays.

Receives, checks, and provides goods to users based on their requests, and follows up to confirm delivery.

Gets invoices, adds the required documents, and sends them to Finance for payment processing.

Books and organizes meals and meeting venues at the head office.

Works with courier services to ensure timely delivery of packages to the branches.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Chief Library
Leads the procurement of information resources from local and international suppliers, both print and non-print.

Coordinates the overall delivery of library and information services across the KIM network of libraries.

Creates and develops library policies, procedure manuals, and documentation including strategic plans and annual budgets.

Helps automate library functions and works with the ICT team to manage integrated library systems and related technologies.

Designs training programs for staff to use automated library systems and other new technologies.

Prepares and manages the annual library budget within the approved limits.

Develops strategies to expand information resources, including e-resources.

Connects with donors and starts collaborations with strategic partners.

Coordinates the processing and sending of information materials to branch libraries.

Creates programs to improve information literacy and the use of library services.

Reviews library collections to ensure they align with collection, development, and reading policies.
