We are seeking an experienced Humanities Editor with strong editorial and content development skills, experience in educational publishing and a good understanding of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a bias in Geography and History.

• At least 4 years of experience in book publishing, preferably educational publishing.

• Strong editing, proofreading, research and fact-checking skills.

• Good understanding of the CBE curriculum and its requirements.

• Ability to develop and review accurate, engaging and learner-centred content.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.

• Experience working with authors, reviewers, designers and other publishing teams.

• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in educational publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Source manuscripts and develop innovative publishing projects.

• Edit and proofread humanities educational manuscripts to a high editorial standard.

• Ensure content is accurate, relevant, engaging and curriculum-compliant.

• Work closely with authors, reviewers and designers throughout the publishing process.

• Conduct content research, fact-checking and quality assurance.

• Ensure consistency, coherence and appropriate progression of content across titles.

• Support the development of high-quality CBE-aligned learning materials.

English Editor

We are seeking an experienced English Editor with strong editorial and language skills, experience in educational book publishing and a good understanding of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.

• At least 4 years of experience in book publishing, preferably educational publishing.

• Strong English language, editing, proofreading and fact-checking skills.
