FEED MILL MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
The Feed Mill Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete operation of the feed mill, ensuring that activities are efficiently managed from the receipt of raw materials through the production process to the dispatch of finished products.
The role requires strong operational leadership and a clear focus on production efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and cost optimisation. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the different aspects of feed mill operations while ensuring that production activities are conducted effectively and in accordance with applicable standards.
Feed Mill Operations
The Feed Mill Manager will lead the end-to-end feed manufacturing process, beginning with the intake of raw materials and continuing through processing, production, storage, and dispatch of finished feed products.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the complete feed mill production process.
Overseeing the receipt and handling of raw materials.
Ensuring efficient movement of materials through the production process.
Supervising the manufacture of finished feed products.
Ensuring finished products are properly handled and dispatched.
Maintaining efficient production processes from raw material intake to finished product distribution.

HACCP.
ISO 22000.
GMP+.
KEBS requirements.
Other applicable regulatory standards.
The manager will be expected to maintain appropriate quality systems across the feed mill and ensure that operational processes are aligned with the required standards.
Quality management will form an important part of the position, particularly in ensuring that feed manufacturing processes consistently meet applicable requirements.
Production Planning and Maintenance
The Feed Mill Manager will oversee production planning and maintenance activities as part of the overall management of the plant.
Responsibilities include:

Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields or a related discipline:
Animal Science.

Food Science.
Chemical Engineering.
The candidate should also have:
At least 10 years of experience in feed mill operations.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
Strong expertise in feed manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of plant operations.
Strong understanding of quality systems.
Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence.
Experience working with large-scale feed production will be relevant to the role.
Experience within integrated poultry operations will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should therefore combine substantial feed mill experience with senior leadership capability and strong knowledge of manufacturing, plant operations, quality systems, and operational performance.
PROCUREMENT MANAGER

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across the organisation’s procurement activities. The role requires a procurement professional with strong expertise in commodities, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain optimisation.
The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, and indirect goods while focusing on cost efficiency, supplier performance, and continuity of supply.
