Role Overview
The Digital Transformation Project Manager will oversee the delivery of strategic digital initiatives within the Delivery Centre of Excellence under World Vision’s Global Technology & Digital Solutions division.
The position will ensure approved technology investments are converted into practical digital solutions that support business transformation, user adoption and measurable organizational outcomes. The role covers the complete project delivery cycle, from defining and validating requirements through development, testing, deployment and operational transition.
The Project Manager will coordinate activities across Business Analysis, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Change & Adoption teams while working closely with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure & Operations teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management
Oversee project execution across the entire delivery lifecycle, from validated requirements through development, testing, deployment and operational readiness.
Coordinate Business Analysis, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Change & Adoption activities to ensure integrated delivery.
Establish and maintain the project foundations required for successful implementation, adoption and realization of expected benefits.
Promote effective collaboration between technical and business teams throughout project execution.
Maintain project momentum by actively managing dependencies, risks, decisions and delivery priorities.
Change and Adoption
Support business-led change and adoption initiatives to ensure new digital capabilities are ready for implementation.
Integrate change management and adoption activities into project plans, milestones and delivery schedules.
Support organizational readiness through communication, training and transition planning.
Ensure project deliverables support successful adoption and sustainable operational practices.
Stakeholder Management and Governance
Act as the primary coordination point for project stakeholders, ensuring responsibilities, expectations and deliverables are clearly understood.
Organize and facilitate governance meetings, Steering Committees and project review sessions.
Provide clear updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, challenges and key trade-offs.
Provide structured information and insights to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
Planning and Delivery Control
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, resources and forecasts.
Monitor project performance and revise plans when necessary to maintain agreed commitments.
Apply Delivery Centre of Excellence standards, governance requirements and project management practices.
Incorporate operational readiness and transition requirements into project planning and execution.
Financial Management
Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts and expenditure.
Monitor financial performance and identify potential budget variances early.
Support investment oversight and ensure project resources are used to maximize business value.
Risk and Issue Management
Identify, assess and actively manage project, operational and organizational risks.
Coordinate the resolution of complex issues using structured assessment and collaborative problem-solving.
Ensure risks that could affect user adoption or operational transition are addressed before they become major delivery obstacles.
Vendor and Partner Management
Support procurement and sourcing activities, including assessment and onboarding of external vendors.
Coordinate vendor activities and ensure third-party deliverables remain aligned with project timelines and expected outcomes.
Monitor vendor performance against Delivery Centre of Excellence requirements and governance standards.
Delivery Excellence
Apply established project management frameworks, standards and governance practices consistently.
Promote effective project delivery practices among team members and business stakeholders.
Document lessons learned and contribute to strengthening the organization's project delivery capabilities.
Support the continued development and maturity of Delivery Centre of Excellence practices.
Skills and Experience
At least five years of professional experience, including two to three years managing IT projects or workstreams in complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead project activities or workstream teams on moderately complex initiatives while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain project progress, risks and dependencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to build productive relationships with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and other partners.
Good understanding of organizational change and user adoption, including supporting implementation and transition into business operations.
Experience working with project management standards, frameworks and governance processes.
Ability to adapt delivery practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Experience supporting projects from initiation and planning through implementation and operational readiness.
Broad understanding of enterprise technology environments, including applications, integration, infrastructure, data and cloud technologies.
Ability to work effectively within complex, matrix-based organizations and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to planning, risk management and project governance.
Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Recognized project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent qualification.
Certification in Agile or hybrid project delivery, such as Scrum, Disciplined Agile or SAFe, is preferred.
Change management certification such as PROSCI or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
At least five years of relevant professional experience, including two to three years managing IT projects or workstreams within complex delivery environments.

Role Overview
The Assistant Project Officer will support the supervision and quality control of construction and water infrastructure projects. The role involves monitoring contractors, verifying the quality and progress of works, maintaining technical records and ensuring that construction activities comply with approved designs, contractual requirements, safety standards and environmental and social safeguards.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance
Monitor construction activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contractual requirements and applicable industry standards.
Inspect materials delivered to construction sites and confirm that they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Identify construction defects and follow up to ensure corrective measures are implemented without unnecessary delays.
Assist with the inspection, testing and commissioning of completed facilities and systems before they are formally accepted.
Review contractor work programmes and construction schedules and monitor progress against agreed plans.
Monitor contractors’ compliance with contractual responsibilities and requirements.
Participate in site inspections and measurement of completed works to support verification and processing of contractor payment claims.
Monitor compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements at construction sites.
Ensure construction activities comply with applicable environmental and social safeguarding requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination
Work with local government authorities, project personnel, contractors and community representatives to support smooth project implementation.
Assist with community awareness and sensitization activities related to construction work when required.
Maintain daily records of site inspections, observations and activities.
Technical Documentation and Reporting
Prepare monthly reports detailing technical progress and project implementation status.
Report on variations, delays, contractor claims, project risks and quality-related issues.
Assist with the preparation of project completion reports and handover documents.
Maintain accurate geo-referenced photographs and other evidence documenting construction progress.
Organize and maintain technical records required for donor reporting, audits and project assessments.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering with a Water and Soil specialization, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
Registration with KETRB or another relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
At least two years of proven experience supervising and inspecting construction projects, particularly water infrastructure, pumping systems, pipelines or related civil engineering works.
Demonstrated experience in construction quality control, measurement and verification of completed works, and assessment of contractor payment applications.
Experience supporting donor-funded, NGO, government or community infrastructure projects will be highly desirable, particularly those involving rural water supply, irrigation, climate resilience or natural resource management.
Practical understanding of occupational health and safety standards, environmental and social safeguards and construction quality assurance practices.
Ability to read, interpret and review engineering drawings, Bills of Quantities, technical specifications and construction programmes.
Proficiency in preparing site inspection reports, technical progress reports, quantity verification documents and other project records.
