Our client, a growing manufacturing organisation, is looking for a capable, detail-conscious and adaptable Inventory Accountant Assistant to support both the Finance and Stores functions.
The successful candidate will help maintain accurate inventory and financial records, track stock movements, perform reconciliations and ensure inventory transactions are correctly processed in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory and accounting records.
Track stock receipts, issues, transfers and other inventory movements.
Compare physical stock with system balances and investigate any differences.
Assist with stocktaking, inventory reconciliations and related reports.
Review inventory documentation and confirm that transactions are correctly recorded.
Support the preparation of financial reports relating to inventory.
Assist with month-end inventory and accounting reconciliations.
Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately entered into SAP.
Collaborate with Stores, Procurement, Production and Finance departments.
Investigate inventory variances and communicate identified discrepancies.
Maintain complete documentation for inventory and accounting transactions.
Perform other duties related to accounting and inventory as assigned.
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
CPA or an equivalent accounting qualification is an added advantage.
Practical SAP experience is required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Sound understanding of inventory accounting, stock management and reconciliations.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to investigate, identify and resolve stock variances.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Adaptability and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What We Are Looking For
This position is suited to an accounting professional who can effectively operate across Finance, Stores and Inventory functions and understands the importance of accurate stock records for financial reporting and operational control.
Strong experience in SAP and inventory accounting will be especially valuable in this role.

Our client, a growing organisation operating a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, is seeking an experienced and practical Motor Vehicle / Automotive Mechanic.
The successful candidate will handle the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of heavy commercial vehicles, helping to maintain vehicle performance, safety and reduce operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and carry out the required repairs.
Service diesel engines and maintain their associated vehicle systems.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and identify possible mechanical issues before they result in breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems.
Maintain and repair hydraulic systems and their components.
Carry out scheduled servicing, inspections and routine maintenance.
Attend to vehicle breakdowns and perform the necessary repairs.
Keep accurate records of servicing, repairs and maintenance work.
Ensure workshop tools, equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
Adhere to required safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Provide technical advice and recommendations regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
Requirements
Diploma in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in motor vehicle or automotive mechanics, preferably involving heavy commercial vehicles.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and automotive electrical systems.
Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose faults and perform repairs.
Experience with Chinese-manufactured heavy commercial vehicles, particularly HOWO trucks, is an added advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
Good diagnostic and analytical capabilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity, reliability and attention to detail.
Ability to perform effectively in a demanding operational environment.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanic who can independently identify mechanical problems, complete repairs and help keep heavy commercial vehicles operational.
Candidates with extensive heavy-duty vehicle experience and strong capabilities in diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems will be particularly suited to this position.
