Job Purpose

The Technical Baker will be responsible for producing quality baked products while providing technical baking expertise, developing recipes, and conducting product demonstrations. The position will also support sales growth for Bake and Top products through customer engagement, technical assistance, and strong relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Baking & Technical Support

• Prepare, bake, and decorate various products using Bake and Top ingredients while following company standards.

• Create, test, and recommend recipes that demonstrate product applications and attract customer interest.

• Conduct product testing, demonstrations, and technical training for internal teams and external customers.

• Advise bakery teams and customers on the proper application and use of Bake and Top products.

• Maintain required food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout all baking activities.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with bakeries, retailers, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Gather customer feedback and market information to help improve products and services.

Administration & Reporting

• Keep complete and accurate records of product trials, demonstrations, training activities, and sales engagements.

• Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports covering sales results, customer interactions, and technical activities.

• Work closely with the sales, marketing, production, and quality assurance teams to support the achievement of business goals.

Job Purpose

The Technical Baker will oversee the preparation of high-quality baked products while providing technical support, developing and testing recipes, and demonstrating product applications. The role will also contribute to the growth of Bake and Top products by engaging customers, providing technical guidance, and developing strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Baking & Technical Support

• Produce and decorate baked products using Bake and Top ingredients in accordance with established company standards.

• Develop, test, and recommend recipes that effectively demonstrate product applications and generate customer interest.

• Organize and deliver product trials, demonstrations, and technical training for both employees and external customers.

• Guide bakery teams and customers on the appropriate use and application of Bake and Top products.

• Ensure all baking activities comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality requirements.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with bakeries, retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders.

• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to contribute to ongoing product and service improvements.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records relating to product trials, demonstrations, training sessions, and sales activities.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering sales performance, customer engagement, and technical support activities.

• Coordinate with sales, marketing, production, and quality assurance teams to help achieve business objectives.

Assistant Baker – Nakuru
