Job Purpose

The Laboratory Technologist will work under the direction of the Laboratory In-charge to conduct diagnostic tests and laboratory investigations that support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, register, and process patient specimens in accordance with approved laboratory procedures.

• Carry out laboratory analyses and ensure test results are accurate and delivered to the relevant clinical personnel in a timely manner.

• Maintain quality standards by using appropriate reagents, calibrating laboratory equipment, and keeping the work environment clean and hygienic.

• Prepare and maintain routine laboratory and operational reports.

• Participate in internal quality assurance activities and ensure all quality control records and logs are properly updated.

Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.

• Valid registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).

• At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory.

• Good computer skills.

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively with others.

• Professional interpersonal and workplace conduct.

Locum Health Centre Receptionists

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the Receptionist will provide administrative support and manage front office activities to facilitate an efficient and well-organized health centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients upon arrival and confirm their insurance or medical cover information.

• Manage patient appointments and coordinate scheduling effectively.

• Handle billing processes and receive patient payments as required.

• Prepare and submit administrative reports within the required timelines.

• Monitor petty cash expenditure and raise requests for necessary supplies.

• Keep the reception and front office area clean, organized, welcoming, and professional.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in reception, front office, customer service, or a similar administrative position.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Clear verbal and written communication.

• Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
