Job Description
The Welder – Self Propelled Harvester (SPH/Valiant) will be responsible for maintaining the Estate’s Self-Propelled Harvesters effectively to support machine efficiency, safety, tea quality, and productivity. The role focuses on improving machine availability and reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring efficient use of the equipment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Perform welding of components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, overhead, and other required positions.
Identify the materials being worked on and select the correct filler material type, size, and quantity.
Select suitable welding equipment and techniques according to specific job requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings, technical documentation, and specifications.
Conduct pre-welding preparation and inspections while observing required safety standards.
Follow safety procedures and hot work permit requirements.
Carry out fabrication and general repair welding on load-bearing structures, pressurized structures and vessels, machinery, and other components, including filling gaps and welding pieces where necessary.
Fit and assemble metal parts, tools, and sub-assemblies, including welding and brazing components.
Prepare and position components for welding according to specifications, including cutting materials with powered saws to required measurements.
Service and maintain welding equipment, accessories, hand tools, and portable tools.
Produce quality welds with accuracy and close attention to detail.
Keep the work area orderly and maintain proper housekeeping standards.
Train and guide junior welders during work activities.
Ensure all work complies with applicable local and national engineering codes and regulations.
Complete assigned tasks within the required timelines and agreed deliverables.
Job Requirements
Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Government Trade Test Certificate in welding, either electric and/or gas.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Certificate in Auto Electrical and MVM is an added advantage.
Multiskilled driving licence covering Classes B, C, E, and G is an added advantage.

Job Description
The Mechanic – Self Propelled Harvester (SPH/Valiant) will oversee the effective maintenance of Self-Propelled Harvesters within the Estate. The position is aimed at maintaining high levels of machine efficiency, safety, tea quality, and productivity while improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and promoting proper machine utilization.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Troubleshoot faults and technical problems affecting SPH machines.
Inspect SPH equipment and carry out necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records.
Overhaul SPH machines in accordance with required standards.
Dismantle and reassemble SPH machines and their equipment whenever necessary.
Install replacement parts on motor vehicles and equipment as required.
Prepare comparative cost estimates for repair and maintenance activities.
Ensure the safe custody of assigned tools, spare parts, and equipment.
Maintain records of repair expenses and conduct cost analysis as required.
Respond to emergency breakdowns outside normal work activities when required.
Help verify that only quality spare parts are installed on machines.
Observe all environmental, occupational health, and safety requirements and regulations.
Repair and maintain the hydraulic systems of the machines.
Perform basic welding and fabrication work on SPH machines.
Train SPH operators on safe operating procedures while helping to improve their technical skills.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Automotive, Motor Vehicle Mechanics (MVM), or Mechanical Engineering with a Plant option.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Certificate in Auto Electrical and Welding is an added advantage.
Multiskilled driving licence covering Classes B, C, E, and G is an added advantage.

Job Description
The Company Secretary will provide professional governance, compliance, and executive coordination support to the Board and senior management. The role ensures the organization and its entities remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong corporate governance standards. The position also supports the CEO and Board with effective decision-making, operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organizational accountability.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide company secretarial services and promote sound governance across the business and its entities.
Coordinate relevant audits required to maintain compliance.
Ensure statutory obligations, reporting requirements, and disclosures applicable to listed companies are met.
Prepare Board resolutions and minutes for Board meetings and Annual General Meetings.
Guide the finance team on reporting and disclosure requirements under the Companies Act and other applicable legislation.
Organize Board and Board Committee meetings for the company and its subsidiaries, as well as AGMs.
Ensure Annual Returns and resolutions relating to the appointment or resignation of Directors and Secretaries are filed on time.

Support the CEO when engaging shareholders, investors, financial institutions, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
Coordinate shareholder communications, annual reports, investor materials, and corporate presentations.
Promote effective communication between the Board, management, and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
Strengthen governance systems and maintain regulatory integrity.
Support improved executive efficiency and timely implementation of decisions.
Encourage accountability, transparency, and strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

Job Requirements
LLB degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in company secretarial work.
Must be a member in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
Valid practising certificate.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Produce detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software across different engineering disciplines.
Interpret sketches, specifications, and design instructions provided by engineers from various disciplines.
Update, amend, and revise drawings according to project requirements and feedback.
Ensure technical drawings meet applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
Maintain well-organized drawing records and revision histories.
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for structures, machinery, and paved surfaces using detailed working drawings as instructed.
Carry out site supervision and manage contractors as required to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Draughtsman or CAD Technician.
Proficiency in CAD applications, including AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and ArchiCAD.
