Job Purpose
The successful candidate will deliver competency-based training at Diploma Level 6 and Certificate Level 5, equipping trainees with practical skills and knowledge that are relevant and competitive in the current employment market.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Automotive Engineering at KNQF Level 6, or an equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position.
Must be licensed by TVETA.
Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB).
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about learning and trainee development.
Comprehensive understanding of tertiary training structures and Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET).
Exposure to TVET CDACC processes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instruction in assigned courses or training units in line with the approved curriculum and applicable occupational standards.
Organize, facilitate, and evaluate practical training sessions for assigned course units.
Develop internal examinations and assessments, undertake marking and grading, and participate in assessment validation and moderation.
Guide, supervise, and assess trainees within the relevant training area and throughout their industrial attachment.
Maintain all required training and learner records in accordance with TVETA, TVET CDACC, and other applicable regulatory requirements, including session plans, learning materials, training notes, and records of work.
Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Coordinator or Director.
TVET Trainer – Electrical Engineering

Job Purpose
The trainer will provide competency-based instruction at Diploma Level 6 and Certificate Level 5, preparing trainees with practical and industry-relevant capabilities for today’s competitive employment environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification in a related trade area.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Must be licensed by TVETA.
Licensing by EBK or KETRB will be an added advantage.
Relevant teaching or training experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Patient, encouraging, and passionate about supporting learning.
Thorough understanding of tertiary-level training structures and CBET.
Exposure to TVET CDACC.
Key Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses and units in accordance with the relevant curriculum and occupational standards.
Plan, deliver, and assess practical sessions within the assigned course units.
Develop internal assessments, mark and grade trainee work, and participate in validation and moderation activities.
Supervise and evaluate trainees in their respective training areas, including during industrial attachment.
Keep accurate records required by TVETA, TVET CDACC, and other relevant regulatory bodies, including learning records, session plans, training notes, and records of work.

TVET Trainer – Food and Beverage

TVETA Training Certification.
