Job Purpose
The Receptionist will manage the hospital reception area professionally and ensure patients, clients, and visitors receive prompt, courteous, and compassionate assistance. Key Responsibilities
Receive and register patients accurately in the Hospital Information System (HIS), confirming patient identity and avoiding duplicate records.

Job Purpose
The Transport Coordinator will oversee and optimize the hospital’s transport operations, ensuring that transportation services remain safe, dependable, efficient, and available when required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage hospital transport activities, including emergency and ambulance services, ensuring 24/7 readiness and prompt response.
Supervise outsourced courier providers and monitor their service quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure the pharmacy has all required equipment and that the equipment remains functional and in good condition.
Ensure drugs are billed completely and accurately. If the hospital management system is unavailable, coordinate with the receptionist or invoicing clerk so that medicines are recorded manually, issued to the client, and subsequently captured once the system is restored.
Ensure processed prescriptions are correctly labelled and independently checked, with clients advised to collect their cards before medicines are dispensed.
Ensure all applicable insurance exclusion lists are followed.
Ensure the Pharmaceutical Technologist communicates equivalent alternatives for out-of-stock medicines to doctors and follows up to have prescriptions amended where necessary.
Maintain pharmacy stock at established reorder levels. Conduct daily counts, spot checks, and monthly stock takes, and submit accurate reports explaining variances and expiries to the Pharmacy Manager for approval of adjustments by the Stock Controller.

The Inpatient Doctors Team Leader will provide clinical and operational direction for inpatient services while leading the Medical Officers’ team. The role is responsible for supporting safe, quality, efficient, and financially sustainable patient care, effective patient flow and bed utilization, multidisciplinary coordination, strong clinical outcomes, and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
People Management
Lead, supervise, and evaluate permanent and locum Medical Officers while ensuring appropriate deployment of the team.
Work with the MSM and HR to maintain adequate Medical Officer staffing and roster coverage, while coordinating specialist on-call schedules.
Promote employee engagement and retention and handle recognition and disciplinary matters in line with Avenue Healthcare policies.
Oversee internship activities, assess staff competencies, and coordinate CPD and CME initiatives.
Clinical Operations
Manage daily inpatient services and ensure patients receive timely assessment, treatment, specialist reviews, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
