Key Responsibilities
Translate business and technology needs into practical software solutions that support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Apply Agile development approaches and modern engineering practices to build efficient, scalable and maintainable applications.
Work with cross-functional development teams to implement user stories, create automated tests and release product improvements continuously.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
At least three years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of server-side technologies including Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Spring MVC, NestJS, ExpressJS, Node.js, Java, PHP, C#, ASP.NET and XML.
Good command of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP services, SSO/OAuth, LDAP and search technologies.
Practical experience with at least one JavaScript framework or library such as Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, Cordova, Ionic, Ember, jQuery, JQWidgets or Bootstrap.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, together with working knowledge of Unix and Linux environments.
Solid knowledge of SQL databases, including platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as TFS, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Role Overview
The Android Engineer will be responsible for creating and supporting reliable mobile applications that deliver a smooth and customer-focused experience. Working as part of an Agile engineering team, the role will cover application development, testing, performance optimisation, release management and ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Java and the Android SDK.
Convert approved UI and UX designs into responsive, production-ready mobile experiences.
Connect mobile applications with back-end systems through REST APIs and appropriate integration approaches.
Produce clean, maintainable and testable code while applying SOLID principles and established development standards.
