Job Purpose
Manage and coordinate the secure storage, handling, control and issuance of aircraft spares in line with airworthiness requirements and Kenya Airways quality standards. The role ensures materials are available when required to support Kenya Airways and other operators’ maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Spares and Tools
Ensure aircraft spares and tools are received, stored, handled and issued according to airworthiness and company quality requirements.
Release required materials promptly to support maintenance schedules for Kenya Airways and other operators.
Stockroom Security
Control access to the stockroom in accordance with Maintenance Organization Exposition procedures.
Protect the security and integrity of all stored aircraft materials.
Inventory Control
Monitor warehouse stock levels and use systems such as OASES to maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
Maintain a minimum stock accuracy level of 98%.
Receiving and Inspection
Supervise the receipt of incoming materials and shipments.
Verify quantities, inspect items for defects and confirm that deliveries meet quality requirements and correspond with purchase orders.
Warehouse Storage and Organization
Ensure aircraft materials are systematically arranged for efficient access and maximum use of warehouse space.
Maintain suitable shelving, identification and labelling systems.
Material Distribution
Coordinate the allocation and movement of materials between users and warehouses according to demand and production requirements.
Ensure appropriate spares and tools are available for Kenya Airways and contracted airlines.
Safety and Compliance
Maintain warehouse compliance with applicable safety requirements and OEM guidance, including MSDS requirements.
Ensure materials are handled, stored and controlled safely.
Records and Reporting
Maintain accurate records covering stock transactions, orders and shipments.
Prepare reports that highlight inventory trends and support operational decisions.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in warehouse operations and inventory control.
Support cost reduction, efficiency improvement and optimization of warehouse practices.

Knowledge of KCAA, EASA and company requirements is preferred.

Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

Dangerous Goods handling training is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Claims

Warranty Claims

Prepare and apply protective and decorative coatings to aircraft components in accordance with technical specifications and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation
Remove existing paint, corrosion and contaminants using approved chemical and mechanical methods.
Clean, mask, sand and chemically treat surfaces before applying coatings.
Paint Application
Apply paint using appropriate techniques and processes to achieve the required finish.
Work with epoxy, polyurethane, enamel and chromate-based coating products where required.
Identify and correct defects such as runs, sags, fisheyes and FOD contamination.
Diagnose and resolve problems involving paint adhesion, application and finish quality.
Quality Control
Inspect completed work and maintain appropriate documentation.
