Kenya Trade Network Agency, known as KENTRADE, is a government agency that operates under the Treasury.Its main job is to help with trade between Kenya and other countries.KENTRADE is also responsible for setting up, managing, and running the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System, called KNESWS.The goal of the National Electronic Single Window System project is to make international trade easier by cutting down on delays and saving costs during the process of checking goods at Kenya's borders.At the same time, it ensures that all necessary checks are done and that the right taxes, fees, and duties are collected when goods are imported or exported.We are looking to hire people for the positions listed below.
Method of Application
Applicants who are qualified and interested are asked to send their application letter, curriculum vitae (which should include details of their qualifications, work experience, and contact information such as email and phone number, along with the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of three (3) referees who are familiar with their past work experience), and copies of all certificates and relevant testimonials.
Candidates who are successful will need to get and submit valid copies of the following documents before an offer is made.
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (CID)
- Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Clearance form from the Ethics & Anti-corruption Authority (EACC)
- Clearance certificate from a recognized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
After that, you will be directed to the e-recruitment portal, where you can:
- Create a user account
- Create your profile or edit it if you already have an account
The information on your profile is split into different tabs that you must complete before applying for a job.
These include:
- Biodata – general information about the applicant
- Academic qualifications – attach certificates
- Professional qualifications – attach certificates
- Employment history – record of previous employers
- Referees
- Attach application letter and CV
- Input current and expected salary
- Submit application
- Click on "My Applications" to check or confirm if your application has been successfully submitted
