Clinical Instructor – Nursing (3 Positions)
Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
Develop, review and update standard operating procedures and practical manuals used for clinical instruction.
Take part in both formative and summative assessments of nursing students.
Develop, implement and review hospital-related guidelines and measures, ensuring compliance and advising the department where necessary.
Provide mentorship, guidance and coaching to students throughout their formative and summative learning stages.
Represent the Clinical Medicine programme and the University positively when interacting with students, healthcare facilities and other stakeholders.
Offer professional advice to the department and University on matters relating to clinical instruction and related services.
Supervise students during clinical practice by coordinating rotations, arranging site visits and helping learners understand their responsibilities across different clinical environments.
Oversee the maintenance of skills laboratory equipment, ensuring that equipment, facilities and mannequins remain functional and properly maintained.
Work together with lecturers to prepare practical manuals for the Skills Laboratory.
Deliver clinical instruction to students in both hospital wards and the Skills Laboratory.
Participate in scheduled community outreach activities and programmes.
Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and commitment to Christian values.
Strong student supervision capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective leadership abilities.
Strong teaching, facilitation and presentation skills.
Good research and analytical capabilities.
Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in computer applications.
At least five years of clinical practice experience in a Level 5 hospital. Previous experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.
A valid nursing practising licence.
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Tutorial Fellow – Nursing (4 Positions)

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Nursing
Experience: 2 years
Location: Nairobi
Job Field: Education / Teaching / Training, Medical / Healthcare
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of teaching, student assessments, examination preparation and development of learning materials.
Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and other University activities as assigned.
Take part in nursing research, academic publications and professional or academic conferences.
Provide both classroom-based and clinical instruction to nursing students.
Mentor and support students in their academic, professional and spiritual development.
Qualifications and Skills
A Master of Science degree in Nursing, with specialization in one of the following areas: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Curriculum and Instruction, or Midwifery.
Strong student supervision skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Good leadership skills.
Strong teaching and presentation capabilities.
Research and analytical skills.
Good organizational and teamwork abilities.
Computer literacy.
High standards of integrity and professionalism, together with commitment to Christian values.
At least two years of experience in clinical and didactic instruction.
A valid practising licence.
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
