Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following full-time positions based in Nairobi.
1. Clinical Officer III (3 Positions)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess a Diploma in Clinical Medicine or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Candidates must demonstrate computer literacy and be familiar with Hospital Management Systems. At least one year of experience in a busy healthcare facility is required, while previous employment in a tertiary learning institution will be an added advantage. Applicants must also be registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya and comply with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
2. Nursing Officer III (4 Positions)
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must hold a Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Applicants should have computer skills, including experience using Hospital Management Systems, and at least one year of experience in a busy health facility. Experience in a university or tertiary institution is desirable. A valid practicing license issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), membership in either NNAK or KEPNA, a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate, and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution are mandatory.
3. Medical Laboratory Technologist III
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution. They must have proficiency in computer applications, experience with Hospital Management Systems, and at least one year of work experience in a busy healthcare environment. Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board is compulsory, while experience in a tertiary learning institution will be an added advantage. Candidates must also satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
4. Medical Laboratory Technologist II
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution. They should possess strong computer skills, experience using Hospital Management Systems, and a minimum of one year of practical experience in a busy health facility. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of biosafety practices, infection prevention and control measures, and clinical laboratory standards. Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution are essential.
5. Pharmaceutical Technologist III
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution. They should be proficient in computer applications and Hospital Management Systems and have at least one year of professional experience in a healthcare setting. Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board is mandatory, while previous experience in a tertiary institution is considered an added advantage. Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution is also required.
6. ICT Officer I – Software Developer
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. A minimum of three years of software development experience in an institution comparable to a university is required. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, C#, and JavaScript, along with experience in Navision 2018 or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OData, JSON, SOAP services, SQL/MySQL databases, Windows Server administration, computer hardware, and networking is expected. Microsoft certification in Navision or Dynamics 365 BC, registration with the relevant professional body, and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution are mandatory.
7. ICT Officer I – Database Administrator
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and at least three years of experience as a Database Administrator in a comparable institution. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in database backup and recovery, Active Directory management, Windows Server administration, SQL/MySQL databases, networking, and hardware support. Experience with Navision 2018, Dynamics 365 BC, API integrations, and Microsoft certification in the relevant systems will be an added advantage. Applicants must also be registered with the appropriate professional body and meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
8. ICT Officer III – ICT Technician (2 Positions)
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or Software Engineering. They should have at least two years of experience as an ICT Technician and practical knowledge of help-desk platforms, centralized printing systems, Active Directory, Radius servers, network monitoring tools, audio-visual equipment, Windows Server administration, and SQL/MySQL databases. Certifications in Cybersecurity, Data Protection, Data Management and Governance, and Emerging Technologies or Artificial Intelligence are highly desirable. Registration with the relevant professional body and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution are required.
9. Driver II (2 Positions)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification together with either six years of relevant driving experience or nine years of driving experience in the public or private sector. Candidates should hold a valid driving license with PSV endorsement, a Defensive Driving Certificate, a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police, an Emergency Vehicle Operator Certificate (EVOC), and Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certificates. Possession of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate will be an added advantage. Applicants must also have passed the Occupational Trade Test Grade II for Drivers and comply with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
