Job Overview
The Factory Accountant will be responsible for making sure the Tea Factory runs financially well, following top standards in production, management, and money matters.
This role is important for the factory's operations, focusing on managing costs, following laws, and keeping financial records accurate.The person in this job will handle the process from buying supplies to paying suppliers (Procure-to-Pay), manage taxes, handle the company’s money matters, and control the use of big equipment.They will support the Kipchimchim Group’s financial goals and long-term plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field from a respected university.

At least three years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or factory setting.

Must have a professional accounting qualification like CPA-K or ACCA.

Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and IAS.
Should be skilled in ERP systems, QuickBooks, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Experience in leading a team and developing staff.

Good skills in planning finances, making budgets, and controlling costs.

Experience in following tax rules and reporting to the government.

Strong ability to analyze, work with numbers, and solve problems.

Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
