Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for SUT SEZ using Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.
Record and process all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and inter-company transactions between SUT SEZ and KIL.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
Verify supplier invoices, confirm supporting documentation, and manage the accounts payable process, including timely payment processing.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register for manufacturing plant, machinery, and equipment within the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, financial reports, and statutory financial statements.
Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation, accountability, and regular reconciliation.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, NITA, and the Affordable Housing Levy, in compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of C or its equivalent.
Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
A minimum of two to three years of experience in logistics coordination, fleet management, distribution, or a similar role within a consumer goods or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Zoho Inventory or a comparable inventory and logistics management system.
Experience coordinating third-party logistics (3PL) providers and managing service level agreements (SLAs).
Valid Kenyan driving licence will be an added advantage to support operational requirements where necessary.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to develop and maintain delivery tracking tools, logistics reports, and cost analysis spreadsheets.
