Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review, validate, and process supplier invoices, goods received notes (GRNs), local purchase orders (LPOs), and related supporting documents.
Reconcile supplier account statements and prepare payment remittances to facilitate timely settlement of outstanding balances.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor records, ensuring payments are correctly allocated and recorded.
Administer accounts payable activities for designated subsidiary entities, including the management of foreign currency supplier accounts.
Process petty cash reimbursement transactions for the Head Office and ensure proper documentation.
Record VAT transactions accurately and maintain comprehensive supporting records to satisfy statutory and audit requirements.
Handle freight-related accounting entries and ensure proper maintenance of associated financial documentation.
Prepare monthly accounts payable reports, creditor reconciliations, and payment schedules for management review.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, documentation issues, and account reconciliation matters.
Support periodic inventory counts and provide assistance during internal reviews and external audit engagements.

Upholds high ethical standards, accountability, and professionalism in all financial activities.
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or another relevant business-related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA Part II/III, ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
Minimum of two years' practical experience in accounts payable, creditor management, or a similar finance role.
Proficient in the use of accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
Familiarity with VAT compliance requirements and knowledge of eTIMS processes will be considered an added advantage.
