Overview
The intern will help the Finance team with daily financial tasks, accounting work, and reporting.


Job Description
Help enter financial transactions into the company's accounting software and make sure all financial records are entered accurately and on time.

Do monthly bank reconciliations by matching the bank statements with the company's financial records.

Help track department and project budgets, keep an eye on spending, and let the accountant know if there are any differences.

Support the checking and processing of supplier invoices to make sure payments are made on time.

Make sure sales collections are handled properly to show the correct financial position of the business.

Check and verify staff expense reports to make sure they follow the company's rules.

Help during internal and external audits by providing needed documents and information.

Organize a financial filing system that is easy to use and access.

Track all payments related to taxes and follow up on tax returns.

Talk to clients about payments, refunds, and statements.

Make sure all clients get their financial statements on time.

Prepare and share accurate sales and collection reports to show how well the company is doing.


Requirements
A student currently studying Accounting, Finance, or a related subject.

Basic knowledge of financial and accounting principles.

Understand financial reporting and budgeting.

Prior experience in finance, accounting, or data entry is preferred.
