The Role
The Account Associate Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client satisfaction through strategic planning, daily project implementation, and effective account management.
Works closely with clients and internal agency teams to understand communication needs and recommend, plan, budget, and execute suitable solutions.
Oversees and coordinates public relations, creative, and digital initiatives across assigned client accounts.
Requires a proactive, strategic, energetic, creative, and perceptive professional.
The position calls for a strong interest in and passion for integrated marketing communications.
Skills and Competencies
7–8+ years of full-time experience in public relations, account management, or client service, including at least 5 years within an agency environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, exercise sound judgment, and consistently meet client deadlines.
Strong research and analytical capabilities, with experience developing communication strategies, execution plans, editorial content, digital strategies, and content plans.
Strong business acumen with an adaptable, confident approach, excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proven experience preparing and managing budgets and achieving revenue targets.
At least 3 years of experience supervising, mentoring, or developing interns and junior-level employees.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
CPR/CIM, customer service, marketing, or project management qualifications will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain effective processes and quality standards within agency teams to ensure client deliverables are completed successfully.
Build strong client relationships by anticipating their needs, identifying potential opportunities, and recommending creative solutions.
Support the preparation of new business proposals and presentations.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members during client campaign implementation, ensuring PR content and creative work meet quality standards and remain aligned with strategy.
Participate in research initiatives and develop proposals and presentations to support new business development.
Lead the creation of content for distribution through mainstream and digital media platforms.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders within the assigned portfolio.
