Role Objective

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Audio Technician with solid sound engineering experience. The successful candidate should be creative, well organized, and able to provide reliable audio-visual technical support across a variety of events and production settings.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and dismantle audio, lighting, video, and LED display equipment for events and productions.

• Inspect and test all equipment before events to confirm that systems are functioning properly.

• Control sound levels and apply signal processing during live events to deliver clear, high-quality audio.

• Operate technical equipment for concerts, corporate events, live broadcasts, and other productions.

• Record and manage speech and music audio, including converting recordings into digital formats for post-production.

• Ensure technical equipment is correctly positioned, safely installed, and properly connected through appropriate cabling.

• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs of audio-visual equipment.

• Keep detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and audio recordings.

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and operation of LED display systems during live events.

• Undertake any other duties related to the role as assigned by management.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

• Diploma in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of practical hands-on experience. Additional experience or advanced qualifications will be an added advantage.

• Strong technical understanding and genuine interest in broadcast and recorded sound.
