Group Chief Internal Auditor

We are looking for an accomplished Group Chief Internal Auditor to provide strategic leadership across the organisation’s internal audit, risk, controls, compliance and investigations activities. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in complex industrial environments and the ability to lead assurance functions across multiple locations.

Experience and Qualifications

• CPA(K), ACCA, or another internationally recognised professional accounting qualification.

• 10–15 years of progressive experience covering internal audit, risk management, internal controls and compliance, including substantial experience at senior management level.

• Strong track record within the steel, cement, engineering, industrial or large-scale manufacturing sectors.

• Proven ability to direct internal audit operations across multiple sites and coordinate teams working in different locations.

• Experience preparing and presenting audit findings, risk assessments and control matters to Boards, Audit Committees and senior leadership.

• Extensive knowledge of risk-based internal auditing methodologies and practical experience conducting forensic investigations.

• Strong understanding of inventory and stock controls, Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project-based audits.

• Hands-on experience working with SAP is mandatory.
