Battery Swapping Executive
Our client, a leading manufacturer of electric two- and three-wheelers providing renewable energy technology solutions, is looking for qualified candidates to join its team as Battery Swapping Executives.
Job Purpose
The Battery Swapping Executive will manage battery charging and swapping activities at the assigned station. The role involves providing fast and reliable service while ensuring customers receive a positive experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Serve customers at the designated battery swapping station and complete battery swaps within 2 minutes.
Escalate customer complaints or issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
Keep the supervisor informed about station visits and any concerns involving batteries, chargers, or safety equipment.
Submit daily reports before and after each shift, covering attendance, power consumption, and shift activities.
Monitor battery demand and communicate additional requirements when swap volumes increase.
Carry out daily quality and operational checks at the assigned station.
Guide customers on how to use the swapping app and provide basic technical assistance where necessary.
Perform any other duties assigned according to operational needs.
Education, Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes
KCSE, vocational technical training, or a qualification in a related field.
Previous customer service experience is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of electric vehicle charging systems is beneficial.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Willingness to work flexible shifts and hours.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must have the required statutory documents, including copies of their NSSF and KRA PIN, and must be registered with SHA.
Payment will be made through a bank account.
Applicants must provide details of three referees, including their full names, job titles, organisations, and valid contact information.
A Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.
