Brand Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of brand strategies that support AMG’s overall business objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the brand’s market position, developing effective marketing campaigns, coordinating product launches, monitoring brand performance, and ensuring consistency across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints.
This role requires a strong understanding of branding, consumer behaviour, marketing analytics, and integrated campaign management. The ideal candidate should be able to combine creativity with commercial thinking and use market data and consumer insights to make informed marketing decisions.
The Brand Manager will work closely with sales, product development, operations, agencies, vendors, and other internal teams to ensure that marketing activities support business priorities and deliver measurable results.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy and Planning
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing long-term strategies that strengthen the brand and support the organization's wider business goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing long-term brand strategies.
Ensuring brand plans are aligned with overall business objectives.
Reviewing market developments and identifying opportunities for brand growth.
Defining clear brand positioning within the target market.
Developing messaging frameworks that communicate the brand’s value effectively.

2. Brand Positioning and Messaging
A major responsibility of the role will be ensuring that the brand has a clear and consistent identity across all communication channels.
The Brand Manager will:
Develop and maintain brand positioning strategies.
Define appropriate brand messages for different audiences.
Ensure communication reflects the brand's values and market position.
Review marketing materials to ensure consistency.
Maintain consistency across internal and external communications.

Coordinating on-ground and experiential activities.
Working with creative and media agencies.
Monitoring campaign implementation.

4. Product Launches and Go-to-Market Strategy
The Brand Manager will play a key role in launching new products and services.
Responsibilities will include:

Coordinating marketing activities before, during, and after launch.
Working with sales and product development teams to align launch plans.

Monitoring agency timelines and deliverables.
Managing vendor communication and expectations.

Strong project management and communication skills will be essential when coordinating multiple external partners.
8. Brand Performance and Analytics
The Brand Manager will monitor the performance of brand and marketing activities using relevant data and performance indicators.
This will include tracking:

Conversion and other relevant performance indicators.

9. Budget and Campaign Management
The Brand Manager will also be responsible for managing brand-related budgets and campaign expenditure.
Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing agency and vendor costs.

Education and Qualifications
Applicants should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
4–6 years of relevant experience in brand management or a related marketing position.
Practical experience leading cross-channel marketing campaigns.
Experience working with creative, media, or other marketing agencies.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and reporting.
Strong knowledge of branding principles.
Good understanding of consumer behaviour.
Knowledge of competitive positioning and market analysis.
Relevant professional marketing qualifications or additional training may be an added advantage.
