Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment and care plans.

• Prescribe medications, request relevant diagnostic investigations, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.

• Deliver emergency medical care and support the management of admitted patients.

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the hospital's electronic or manual health information system.

• Adhere to infection prevention and control measures while ensuring compliance with established clinical protocols and standards.

• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development programs.

• Work collaboratively with nurses, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized training institution.

• Valid registration and a current practicing license issued by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.

• At least two years of clinical practice experience, with internship experience considered acceptable.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and professional interpersonal skills.
