Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of pre-clinical and clinical research studies while overseeing assigned components of research activities.
Conduct medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, provide treatment, and deliver specialized clinical care to research participants.
Participate in field-based research activities, including pre-clinical and clinical procedures in accordance with approved study protocols.
Perform experimental and developmental research activities to support project objectives.
Analyse, interpret, and validate research findings to ensure accuracy and scientific integrity.
Provide medical diagnosis, treatment, and health education during Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outreach programmes and community health initiatives.
Assist in planning and coordinating internal scientific seminars and other research-related knowledge-sharing activities.
Mentor and supervise visiting researchers, interns, and students on industrial attachment or clinical placement.
Ensure proper maintenance and efficient operation of clinical and pre-clinical research facilities.
Coordinate meetings involving internal project teams, research collaborators, and external stakeholders.
Participate in or facilitate virtual meetings and conference calls with international research partners.
Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data collection, processing, management, and deployment throughout the research lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or a related medical specialty is preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications and standard office software.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and reporting abilities.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and research participants.
Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for clinical decision-making and research activities.
Ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member in a research and clinical environment.
