Job Profile

The company is seeking a dedicated and dependable Company Driver to support its operations and contribute to maintaining high service standards.

Job Purpose

To facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of customer orders, uphold the company’s professional image, and ensure the proper care and maintenance of company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the assigned company vehicle remains clean, presentable, and in good operating condition at all times.

• Inform management in advance of scheduled vehicle servicing, insurance renewals, parking permits, and any other maintenance requirements.

• Coordinate and ensure completion of annual NTSA vehicle inspections and licensing requirements.

• Deliver customer orders within Nairobi in a timely and professional manner.

• Verify that all delivery documentation is complete before dispatch and obtain the necessary signatures or stamps upon delivery.

• Cross-check delivered items against invoices with customers to confirm accuracy and secure acknowledgment of receipt.

• Support the implementation of marketing and customer engagement initiatives during delivery assignments.

• Collect customer feedback, report concerns to the office, and assist in addressing customer complaints when necessary.

• Support the Credit Department by following up on outstanding accounts within the Nairobi region and providing updates on collections.

• Participate in maintaining cleanliness within designated warehouse areas.

• Assist with offloading, verification, and proper stacking of goods received into the warehouse.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisors or management from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

• KCSE Certificate and/or a Diploma in any field.

• Previous experience as a driver within the FMCG, pharmaceutical, logistics, or courier sectors will be an added advantage.

• Sales experience and a demonstrated interest in sales and marketing activities will be beneficial.
