Customer Service Officer (On Ground) | Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment | Operations
Role Summary
The Customer Service Officer will deliver excellent food and beverage and customer service to VOX Cinemas guests, helping create a welcoming environment and ensuring visitors enjoy a memorable cinema experience.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner and create a positive atmosphere.
Assist customers with ticket purchases, seat selection, promotions, and transactions at service counters or digital kiosks.
Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately through the POS system.
Provide customers with accurate information about movie timings, cinema facilities, loyalty programmes, and current promotions.
Recommend additional tickets, food and beverage combinations, and retail products to increase sales.
Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally and work toward satisfactory resolutions.
Keep the box office, lobby, and customer service areas clean, organized, and ready for guests.
Monitor guest movement and assist in managing queues to minimize waiting times and service delays.
Work closely with cinema operations and F&B teams to maintain smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records relating to transactions, refunds, and required operational reports.
Comply with company requirements covering hygiene, health, safety, and data security.
Assist colleagues and other departments during busy periods, promotions, and special events.
Consistently maintain the service standards of VOX Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage or hospitality.
Previous cinema or restaurant experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities with a friendly and professional approach.
Ability to remain effective in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Consistent compliance with hygiene, grooming, and uniform requirements.
