Valentino Middle East is seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join its Dubai team for a 12-month internship. The role offers an opportunity to work within a luxury fashion environment while supporting financial reporting, retail performance analysis, data management, and process improvement across the GCC region.

Your Mission
Working as part of the Finance team, you will help transform financial and retail information into useful business insights. You will contribute to reporting, performance analysis, financial planning, and initiatives aimed at improving processes and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering key retail performance indicators such as sales, sell-through rates, average transaction value, and stock management across GCC boutiques.
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting by collecting, consolidating, and analyzing information from ERP systems, POS platforms, Excel, and other sources.
Support database management during month-end closing, including sales reconciliation, commission tracking, marketing and communication expenses, and fixed-cost monitoring.
Assist with financial planning activities, including the preparation of budget and forecast scenarios.
Help automate recurring reporting processes using Power BI or comparable reporting and analytics tools.
Conduct ad hoc business analyses to support Accounting, Logistics, and Retail teams in decision-making related to new store openings, budget reviews, and investment cases.
Work collaboratively with Finance, Retail, and Operations teams to improve the accuracy, quality, and consistency of business data.
Candidate Profile
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline at a leading business or engineering school.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Results-oriented approach and ability to work accurately with financial and business data.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of Power BI, Python, or SQL is an advantage.
Genuine interest in luxury retail and an understanding of its commercial environment.
Ability to work independently while managing responsibilities in a fast-paced, multicultural workplace.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of Italian or Arabic is an advantage.
