Software Engineering Technical Lead
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Software Engineering Technical Lead to provide engineering leadership and direction across multiple software delivery teams within the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE).
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that enterprise software solutions are designed, developed, tested, and delivered to a high standard. The position will provide technical guidance across agile squads while working closely with software architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, QA specialists, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
The role requires a strong understanding of modern software engineering, enterprise application development, architecture, APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
The Technical Lead will help ensure that technology solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with both business requirements and the organization's wider technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership
The Software Engineering Technical Lead will provide technical direction across software development teams and multiple delivery squads.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading and guiding software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

The Technical Lead will work across agile squads to support effective planning and delivery.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
At least 4–6 years of experience working in software engineering and application development environments.
Strong experience in enterprise application architecture and software development.
Experience with APIs and system integration.
Practical understanding of modern software engineering practices.
Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based application environments.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
