Ensure project and programme managers deliver, manage, and control projects in accordance with Absa Africa standards, policies, and governance guidelines.
Monitor project and programme risks and issues, ensuring timely review, escalation, and resolution where necessary.
Track project activities to ensure compliance with established programme management standards, procedures, and controls.
Support the Program Office Manager by conducting project assurance reviews and project health assessments.
Provide feedback to Business Africa (BA) on local competitor products, market activities, and emerging trends.
Conduct local market research and provide management with relevant market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Undertake legal and regulatory assessments where required to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Recommend new distribution channels and channel enhancements to BA and local stakeholders.
Prepare and provide management information and performance data for both local and central management teams.

Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
Strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies, governance frameworks, and systems development practices.
Good understanding of the Bank's policies, operational standards, security procedures, and internal control requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of Absa Africa products, services, and the supporting operational systems.
Sound understanding of Absa Group products and the broader financial services industry.
Knowledge of Absa Africa's strategic objectives, policies, and business priorities.
Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, marketing principles, and evolving market trends.
Knowledge of customer segmentation concepts and their practical application.
Familiarity with industry regulatory frameworks, advisory bodies, and professional standards.
Good understanding of legislation governing financial services and digital channel delivery.
