About this Role
Ensure that the work ticket is duly signed and authorized;
Carrying routine checks of the vehicle before commencement of a journey;
Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle; keeping work tickets for vehicles up to date;
Driving the vehicle safely within the specified speed limits; Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle, passengers and goods on and off the road;
Carrying out minor repairs on the vehicle;
Ensuring regular servicing of the vehicle as per the manufacturer's schedule; Ensuring that the vehicle is insured and in good working condition;
Reporting any mechanical/accident problems; and
Submitting regular reports on the motor vehicle assigned.

Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade D+ from a recognized institution;
Occupational Trade Test II/III for Drivers;
Valid driving license free from any current endorsements;
Defensive driving certificate from a recognized Institution;
Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers from the Ministry of Roads and Public Works;
First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized institution;
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct; and
Computer literacy
