Key Responsibilities
Help with outreach programs.

Drive the assigned vehicle politely and respectfully.

Have completed defensive driving training.

Give a safety talk to patients before each trip starts.

Keep the assigned vehicle clean both inside and outside.

Keep detailed records of trips, transport forms, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incidents, accidents, and the vehicle’s condition.

Do basic vehicle maintenance as needed.

Fill up the assigned vehicle with fuel.

Work with management and staff to arrange major and regular vehicle maintenance.

Check tires, brakes, wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety gear to make sure the vehicle is in good condition to drive.

Follow traffic rules and hospital safety guidelines.

Pick up and drop off staff at planned times while staying on schedule.

Know first-aid procedures.

Keep patients calm and safe during outreach trips.

Prepare and hand in reports about trips, miles driven, fuel used, hours worked, and money collected.

Have a valid license to drive a bus; include your license in your application.

Be a responsible and proactive driver.


Qualifications
Hold a valid driver's license for cars, private vehicles, and buses.

Have at least five years of driving experience, especially in professional environments.

Be familiar with operating hospital transport vehicles like transport vans.

Know local roads, traffic laws, and regulations.

Have a certificate in safe and defensive driving.

Have some basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics for minor repairs.

Have good communication skills to work with patients, staff, or clients.

Be able to stay calm and handle stressful or emergency situations professionally.

Have no history of substance abuse or any condition that could affect driving.

Have a clean driving record.

Be willing to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
