Accounts Internship

Nairobi ENT Clinic is inviting applications for an Accounts Intern based at its Nairobi Hospital office.

The internship is offered on a six-month contract and is designed to provide recent graduates with practical work experience to support future career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Reception

Respond promptly to incoming telephone calls and provide patients with the necessary information and assistance.
Schedule patient appointments in line with the doctor's availability and established timetable.
Deliver excellent customer service to all patients.
Keep the reception area, patient waiting areas, office files, and front desk clean, organized, and well maintained.
Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and tact while delivering high-quality customer service.

Finance

Receive payments and issue receipts accurately in accordance with the supporting source documents.
Confirm that services are provided only to eligible beneficiaries under corporate medical schemes.
Accurately record and post all payments received from insurance providers.
Prepare and issue patient invoices promptly.
Deliver invoices to hospitals either electronically or through physical submission.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good understanding of financial principles and strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete assigned work efficiently.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
