Our client, a company that provides innovative solar-powered refrigeration solutions for households, businesses, healthcare facilities, and off-grid communities, is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Officer to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Job Summary
The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting bookkeeping activities, and ensuring effective financial controls. The role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of three to five years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
Proven experience managing day-to-day financial operations within a growing or dynamic organization.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal financial controls.
Experience using accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, statutory compliance requirements, and financial regulations is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.

Remuneration
The successful candidate will receive a monthly basic salary ranging between USD 250 and USD 300.
