Core Duties and Responsibilities

Design, assess, and refine investment strategies, financial models, and business proposals.
Perform detailed financial evaluations, including forecasting, business valuation, and risk analysis.
Identify and assess investment prospects to support effective capital deployment decisions.
Provide guidance on portfolio management, financing arrangements, and strategies for improving financial performance.
Develop and present financial reports, performance dashboards, and investment review summaries.
Assist with fundraising initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and investor or donor relationship management where relevant.
Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations, organizational policies, and governance requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Professional credentials such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification are desirable.
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, investment evaluation, corporate finance, or related areas.
Strong skills in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
Experience with development-focused projects, private-sector investments, or donor-supported programs is beneficial.
Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
