Key Responsibilities
Uphold and promote the school's vision, values, and ethos in accordance with the guidance of the Directors and the Principal.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and address the diverse learning needs of students.
Differentiate instruction and learning activities to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Establish clear learning objectives and performance targets based on students' prior achievement.
Create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
Assess, monitor, record, and report students' academic progress using both formative and summative assessment methods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' attendance, performance, and development.
Prepare and communicate regular progress reports to parents and guardians.
Promote positive student behaviour and maintain discipline in line with the school's behaviour management policies.
Collaborate effectively with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes.
Support the implementation of school policies, procedures, and educational initiatives.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, curriculum planning sessions, and school events.
Supervise and provide guidance to classroom support staff where applicable.
Participate in co-curricular, extracurricular, and out-of-school activities as required.
Monitor student attendance and promptly report absences or welfare concerns to the ap
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Sound knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum requirements within the relevant teaching subjects.
Strong leadership and classroom management skills.
