Role overview
MavunoPay Technologies is hiring a Frontend Engineer to build reliable web experiences for merchants, finance teams, and customer support users. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and QA to ship fast, accessible, and secure interfaces.
Responsibilities
Build production React and TypeScript interfaces for payments, reporting, and onboarding workflows.
Translate product requirements into maintainable components and tested user journeys.
Improve Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and browser compatibility across the platform.
Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and error handling patterns.
Requirements
3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
Strong React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive UI skills.
Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs in production applications.
Good understanding of accessibility, performance, and secure frontend practices.
Working hours and location
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EAT.
