Maintain and care for lawns, flower gardens, shrubs, trees, and hedges to ensure a healthy and attractive environment.
Water plants regularly and monitor irrigation systems to promote proper plant growth.
Carry out planting, pruning, trimming, and replacement of vegetation whenever necessary.
Identify and manage weeds, pests, and plant diseases using appropriate methods.
Apply fertilizers, compost, and other soil nutrients to improve plant health and productivity.
Maintain cleanliness within the compound through sweeping, waste collection, and proper disposal.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain gardening tools, machinery, and equipment.
Inspect plants routinely, identify signs of poor health, and report any issues requiring attention.
Comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards while performing assigned duties.
Assist in landscaping, compound improvement, and beautification initiatives.

KCSE certificate is required, while training or certification in horticulture will be an added advantage.
Preferred age range is between 25 and 35 years.
Practical experience in maintaining lawns, flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges.
Competence in operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, slashers, and other landscaping tools.
Good understanding of plant care practices, soil maintenance, weed management, and pest control techniques.
Physically fit and capable of working outdoors under varying weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and efficient water management practices.
Familiarity with occupational health and safety procedures, including the proper use of protective equipment and safe handling of chemicals.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Must possess a valid National Identification Card. A Certificate of Good Conduct will be considered an added advantage.
