Guest Experience Coordinator
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and guest-oriented Front Office professional to join the team at Al Bandar Rotana & Al Bandar Arjaan By Rotana. The Guest Experience Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures while maintaining effective communication between Front Office and other hotel departments.
The successful candidate should be service-driven, proactive, confident, and capable of creating positive and memorable experiences for guests while working efficiently in a busy hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving complaints whenever possible.
Build positive working relationships with Front Office colleagues, particularly the Guest Services and Front Desk teams.
Confirm that guests are provided with the accommodation and arrangements they expect.
Work closely with Front Office Managers and Supervisors to support the efficient running of daily operations.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requirements and operational information are communicated accurately and on time.
Handle assigned guest inquiries in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
Ensure rooms for arriving guests are assigned before arrival where possible or sufficiently available for allocation by the Front Desk.
Maintain current information on group arrivals, stays, and departures and communicate relevant details to the appropriate teams.
Ensure guest accounts and billing are prepared before departure to minimize delays and billing discrepancies.
Monitor room allocation and room revenue controls to ensure they remain accurate and effective.
Ensure accounting and audit procedures comply with hotel standards and applicable government requirements.
Review registration cards and audit documentation before forwarding them to the Accounts Department.
Provide support to the Guest Services team in the lobby whenever required.
Maintain a strong understanding of emergency and crisis procedures, including fire safety, emergency response, and operation of the fire panel.
Promote compliance with safety procedures designed to protect guests and colleagues.
Perform duties in an environmentally responsible manner while supporting health, safety, and conservation standards.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures relating to environmental protection, health, and workplace safety.
Education and Experience
A degree or relevant qualification in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
Previous Front Office experience in a hotel environment is desirable.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Professional appearance and strong personal presentation.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Good computer skills, with knowledge of Opera considered an advantage.
Experience in Guest Relations and Executive Club operations is beneficial.
